AI Programs at NextEd

Preparing today’s workforce for AI-enabled work

Ai Banner

NextEd’s AI programs are designed to build practical workforce capability, not hype. We focus on what AI can actually do in real workplaces, where it adds value, where it doesn’t, and how people across different roles and industries can use it responsibly and effectively.

All students enrolled in a Higher Education or Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualification across NextEd’s education businesses will receive free foundational AI training as part of their studies from early 2026. This includes Greenwich College, Greenwich Higher Education, Academy of Interactive Technology (AIT), Celtic Training, ISCD and Sero Institute.

For Organisations

AI in Practice: Building Workforce Capability

A half-day, hands-on workshop designed to help organisations move from informal AI experimentation to confident, productive workforce capability.

Most organisations are already using AI, often inconsistently, without shared standards and without clear guardrails. This workshop gives leaders and teams a grounded understanding of how AI works in practice, its limitations, and how to embed it safely into everyday workflows.

This is a practical foundation that builds shared understanding, confidence, and momentum.

What participants will gain
  • A clear understanding of what generative AI can and can’t do in real business contexts
  • Work hands-on with AI using real documents and tasks, moving beyond basic prompts to practical writing, planning, and analysis.
  • Awareness of common risks: hallucinations, bias, data privacy, and over-reliance
  • Insight into how AI tools support real business outcomes
  • Build reusable AI tools for each team, including custom agents, purpose-built prompt libraries, and shared collaboration projects.
  • A shared language and baseline capability across teams
